Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using Inventravel's website/app or booking through Inventravel, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction & Scope of Services

Inventravel operates a platform where tour operators / service providers ("Operators") can list and sell fixed-departure group tours, immersive travel experiences, and related travel packages ("Tours/Tour Packages/Travel Adventures"), and where travellers ("You/Traveller/Customer") can browse, evaluate, and book these Tours.

Inventravel serves as a technology & marketing aggregator/facilitator — we do not directly deliver travel services (hotels, transport, guides, etc.). The actual travel services are provided by the Operators.

These Terms apply to your use of Inventravel's platform, tools (website/app), and any booking you make via Inventravel.

2. Eligibility & User Representation

  • You confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • If you book on behalf of someone else (e.g. friend, family member, minor with guardian), you confirm that you have the authority to do so, and accept responsibility for ensuring they comply with these Terms.
  • You agree to provide complete, accurate and up-to-date personal and travel information during booking (names, age, passport/ID details, health declarations, special requirements).

3. Booking Process, Contract Formation & Payment

  • When you click "Book now" (or equivalent) for a Tour, you are making a binding offer to the relevant Operator. The booking becomes confirmed when the Operator accepts your offer and (if required) you make payment.
  • Once booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation/voucher via email (or other communication channel) summarizing your booking details, price, inclusions/exclusions, and applicable terms (including Operator's terms).
  • Inventravel may facilitate payment on behalf of the Operator via secure online payment methods (cards, UPI, bank transfer, etc.). Inventravel is not the "merchant of record" but a payment facilitator/agent.
  • Payment (or part payment, as per Operator's policy) must be made within stipulated timelines — failure to do so may result in cancellation or forfeiture as per Operator's terms.

4. Services, Operator Responsibility & Limitation of Liability

Since Operators — not Inventravel — provide all travel services (transport, accommodation, guides, meals, etc.), the terms, conditions, responsibilities and liabilities of Operators apply.

Inventravel acts only as a facilitator — we do not (and cannot) guarantee the performance of Operators, their conduct, or quality of services.

Inventravel is not liable for:

  • Any deficiency, delay, injury, loss, death or damage caused by an Operator, their staff, sub-contractors or third-party suppliers.
  • Any additional services or arrangements made by the Traveller directly with an Operator or third party (outside the confirmed Tour package).
  • Errors or typos caused by the Traveller during booking (e.g. wrong name/spelling) or delays due to events beyond control (force majeure, natural disasters, civil unrest, pandemics, etc.).

Travelers must ensure they carry valid travel documents (ID, passport, visa), meet health or vaccination requirements, comply with any age/fitness/special-needs disclosures, and follow any instructions of the Operator/guide.

5. Cancellation, Refunds & No-Show

  • The Operator's cancellation and refund policy governs cancellations — by you or by the Operator. Once a booking is confirmed, cancellation must be done per the Operator's terms (available on your booking detail/voucher).
  • If an Operator rejects your booking request (or is unable to confirm), any payment or authorization made will be released / refunded to you (minus any payment processing fees, if applicable) within a reasonable number of days.
  • In case of cancellation by the Traveller, refund (if any) will depend on the Operator's cancellation policy and applicable timelines.
  • If you or any member of your party fails to show up (no-show) without prior cancellation — no refund will be due, as per Operator's policy.

6. Insurance, Health & Special Requirements

  • Inventravel recommends that all Travellers obtain adequate travel insurance (covering trip cancellation, interruption, health/emergency medical, baggage, etc.). Insurance is generally not included in Tour packages unless explicitly specified.
  • Travellers with restricted mobility, pre-existing health conditions, pregnancy, or special needs must inform Inventravel (and the Operator) at booking time — at least 48-72 hours before departure (or as per Operator's policy) — so that Operators can evaluate feasibility.
  • Inventravel & Operators reserve the right to cancel or refuse participation if they believe a Traveller's health/fitness makes the Tour unsafe, in which case refund/alternative arrangements will depend on Operator's policy.

7. Traveller Obligations & Conduct

  • You are responsible for verifying all booking documents (name, date, itinerary, inclusions/exclusions, special requests) immediately upon receipt. Report any errors or discrepancies without undue delay.
  • You agree to provide truthful and complete information (including any special needs, allergies, mobility restrictions, dietary restrictions, etc.).
  • You must follow all instructions, rules and codes of conduct set by the Operator, local laws, and any safety guidance during the Tour. Misconduct or violation may result in removal from Tour without refund.
  • You acknowledge that any special requests (e.g. room upgrades, custom meals, additional services) are non-binding until confirmed by Operator; Inventravel cannot guarantee fulfillment.

8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimers

  • Inventravel provides the platform "as is" — we do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.
  • Inventravel shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages arising from your use of the platform or booking any Tour — including but not limited to loss of enjoyment, travel disruption, injury, loss or damage to property or person.
  • Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking (if any), except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
  • We are not responsible for third-party services (Operators, hoteliers, transport providers, guides) — their terms govern.

9. User Content, Reviews & Intellectual Property

  • You may have the option to post content (reviews, photos, feedback) about your tours. By posting, you grant Inventravel a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, and display your content (e.g. on website, social media, marketing) without attribution or compensation.
  • You certify that your content does not violate any third-party rights (copyrights, trademarks, privacy, defamation), is not illegal, offensive, discriminatory, or harmful. Inventravel reserves the right to remove or block content at its discretion.

10. Account Termination & Use of Platform

  • You (or Inventravel) may terminate your access to the platform at any time, for any reason. Termination does not affect any confirmed bookings or obligations already in place.
  • Even after termination, Inventravel may retain published content (reviews, photos) previously contributed by you.
  • Existing bookings made before termination remain valid and subject to Operator's terms.

11. Amendments / Updates to Terms

  • Inventravel reserves the right to modify or update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Any modifications will be effective upon posting on our website (or notifying registered users). Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
  • Travellers are advised to review Terms periodically before making bookings.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.
  • Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or bookings via Inventravel shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

13. Miscellaneous

  • If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be deemed omitted, but the remainder of the Terms will continue in full effect.
  • Failure or delay by Inventravel to enforce or exercise any right under these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
