Itinerary
Arrival in Dibrugarh
Arrive at Dibrugarh airport and drive to Roing. The journey takes you through the plains of Assam, gradually transitioning into the foothills of Arunachal Pradesh. As you approach Roing, the landscape shifts, and the mountains begin to assert their presence. The evening is spent at leisure, allowing you to rest and prepare for the expedition ahead.

Accommodation in clean and comfortable stays and thoughtfully set-up campsites (open ground or platformed), on a double-sharing basis throughout the journey.

Terms & Conditions
Trek Difficulty and Fitness Level required:
- The Aeyo Valley trek is graded Moderate to Challenging and is best suited for participants with prior experience of multi-day trekking.
- Participants should be comfortable trekking for 5 to 9 hours a day over six consecutive days.
- The route includes sustained ascents and descents, moss-covered forest trails, rocky sections, grasslands, river crossings, hanging bridges and muddy stretches.
Stay and facilities during trek:
- Accommodation throughout the trek is in twin-sharing expedition tents at remote wilderness camps.
- Facilities are intentionally simple, clean and functional.
- Maple Forest Camp features tents placed inside simple wooden shelters, Indian style toilets and a shared bonfire area.
- Pomo Valley Camp includes pit toilets, a covered dining area and a common bonfire space.
- Second Lake Camp has tents pitched under protective tarp shelters with pit toilets, a shared dining space and a common bonfire area.
Food on trek:
- Meals during the trek are prepared each day by our local camp team using ingredients carried into the mountains and locally sourced wherever possible.
- Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals will be available wherever feasible.
- Lunch on all trekking days will be packed meals.
Weather & Packing:
- The trek takes place during mid-November, when the Eastern Himalayas transition from the monsoon into autumn and the onset of winter.
- Daytime temperatures generally range between 9°C and 15°C, while nights at higher camps can fall below 0°C.
- A 70 to 90 litre trekking backpack is mandatory for this expedition.
- Essential gear includes waterproof packing liners or rain covers, a waterproof jacket, warm layers, gumboots as advised, a sleeping bag or rented sleeping bag, a sleeping bag liner and refillable water bottles.
General Refund Policy:
- 45+ days prior to starting date of the trip – 100% refund of the total trip cost
- 30-44 days prior to starting date of the trip – 75% refund of the total trip cost
- 15-29 days prior to starting date of the trip – 50% refund of the total trip cost
- 8 -14 day prior to starting date of the trip – 25% refund of the total trip cost
- 7 days or less prior to starting date of the trip – No refund
