May to October is the main season, when both the Shimla and Manali routes are open and the weather is mild. June to September is ideal for first-timers. Winter Spiti (December to February) is for experienced travellers who want snow and frozen landscapes, on the Shimla–Kinnaur route only.
A complete Spiti circuit needs 7 to 9 days to acclimatise safely and cover Kinnaur, Kaza and Chandratal without rushing. Shorter 5–6 day trips are possible if you enter and exit via Manali.
Yes. Our Spiti tours are fixed-departure group trips, so solo travellers join a small group and share the journey — no need to arrange your own vehicle, permits or accommodation.
Indian nationals do not need a permit for most of Spiti. Foreign nationals need an Inner Line Permit for certain areas near the border, which the operator arranges as part of the tour.
